Flexible Spending Account Plans
Unreimbursed Medical Expenses (UME) 
This plan provides you the opportunity to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for unreimbursed medical, dental, vision, and orthodontia expenses for yourself, your spouse (as defined by federal law), and/or your qualified dependents. If you have out-of-pocket expenses, such as deductibles, co-payments, doctor, hospital, orthodontia, dentist, and vision fees for which you are not already reimbursed, the health FSA is the plan for you!!
Dependent Care Assistant Plan (DCAP)
This plan provides you the opportunity to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for child daycare or nursery school for your eligible dependents, as well as custodial care for a disabled dependent.
​ NOTE: If you currently have a HSA high deductible medical plan through NMCAA or other provider, you can also have an FSA (UME) BUT the contributions can only go towards dental and vision expenses, NO​ medical.
